Tennessee Tech University. I have a passion for anything cybersecurity, self-hosting, breaking things, and open source everything.

My intrest in cybersecurity begain in highschool when I competed in the Air and Space Force associatied CyberPatriot program. I had the opportunity to lead a team of classmates, and together we placed second in the state of Tennessee. That experience sparked a fascination with cyber that has never really gone away.

I have been fascinated by technology for as long as I can remember. I was always the grandson my grandma would call to help fix her printer, and I still am to this day. Whether I am learning a new programming language, configuring a Linux server, building a homelab, or studying for a cyber certification, I enjoy getting an understanding of how all these systems work and what they do.

I spend most of free time at my setup either trying to learn new topics on HackTheBox, experiment with new tools and apps in a kali box, or building some sort of crazy personal project. Not because I have too for school or an assignment, but because I genuinely enjoy the process.

I also believe there is value in learning the fundamentals. Modern tools, including AI, have been become incredibly capable, and I use them where they make sense. But I never want them to replace understanding. My goal is to build knowledge and skills that stand on their own, so I don't have to burn a million tokens to run an nmap scan on an network.

Outside of technology and cyber, I am a husband to my wonderful wife, a photographer with a love for cars and motorcycles, and someone who enjoys music of all kinds, although metal is usually my top pick. Above all, I a Christian, and my faith shapes how I treat others with kindness, humility, and respect.
